Meet Amanda Thompson

Personal: I am your neighbor, a friend to several, and a colleague to those local and afar. I am a proven networker that brings resources to others.  I grew up on a small farm where our family raised over 500 pigs. My parents were hard-working and raised a family of 6. We had horses, a couple of dairy cows, and many other small farm animals. I know what hard work looks like and I have lived it. I have been married for 12 years and homeschool our 11-year-old son. I have three bonus-daughters (many would use the word step) that are all adults now. I am a private pilot and enjoy flying for fun. 

Passion:  I am passionate about helping others and driven to push for change that matters. I have worked alongside farmers, restaurant staff, business owners, EMS personnel, numerous hospital medical staff, firefighters, police officers, Federal, State, County, and City employees, judges, attorneys, active-duty military, veterans, and many others. This isn't just naming off a list of jobs; this is a list of actual positions I have worked with over several years. I care about others and I also believe in being fair.
