Meet Amanda Thompson

Personal:   

I am proud to be your neighbor, and I value the friendships I have built with many people in our community. In addition to these personal relationships, I also serve as a colleague to individuals both locally and from afar. My experience as a proven networker allows me to bring valuable resources to others, fostering connections that benefit everyone involved.

My upbringing took place on a small family farm, where we raised more than 500 pigs. My parents were incredibly hard-working individuals who managed to raise a family of six. Along with pigs, we cared for horses, a couple of dairy cows, and a variety of other small farm animals. Growing up in this environment taught me the true meaning of hard work, and those lessons have stayed with me throughout my life.

I have been married for twelve years, and together with my spouse, I homeschool our eleven-year-old son. Our family also includes three bonus daughters, all of whom are now adults. Many might refer to them as stepdaughters, but to me, they are truly a bonus in my life.

In addition to my devotion to family and friends, I have a passion for aviation. As a private pilot, I relish the freedom and excitement that flying brings.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work alongside a wide range of individuals in various professions. These include farmers, restaurant staff, business owners, EMS personnel, numerous hospital medical staff, firefighters, police officers, Federal, State, County, and City employees, judges, attorneys, active-duty military, veterans, and many others. My involvement with these outstanding men and women is not just a list of job titles; it reflects partnerships developed over several years.

Above all, I genuinely care about others and am deeply committed to fairness in every aspect of my work.
